My front suspension gives a lowpitched rattle when going over bumps slowly. Any ideas as to the likely reason? It has just recently passed a Uk MOT test when they look for obvious trouble.

Check the heat shields covering the cats.

ARB bushes, commonly.

MoT doesn't care one bit about knocks & clunks unless they fall under one of the safety-related etc categories.
