You should get rid of the car before it truly breaks down and its worth literally nothing...thats a LOT of miles -- I don't care what anyone says. The interior is probably beat at this point, as well as just about everything else on the car. If you replace the motor the next thing you're going to need is a ridiculously expensive trans. Just get another car, this time get one with like 30,000 miles on it.

I'm selling my 2006 XKR Victory edition with 17,000 miles on it if you are interested. Actually I'm selling both of my cars for a Maserati GT Convertible...

...would you still be going to an XFR? Do you feel that after 140k miles the STR engine might not go for much longer with that increased power?
Robin, even with 140k+ miles, my 4.2 s/c is still stout...guess it aged well., Yes, even with 140k miles on the clock, it could handle an Avos TS, which by the way uses less power to run and generates less heat.
I'm interested in the 07 XKR, not XFR, though I wouldn't kick it out of my garage.
An Avos TS STR will no doubt make 600+ chp and trq., allowing it to take on: Cadillac V, M5, Vette, Camaro ZL (585 chp), etc. A Quiaf LSD would be necessary to put all that power down.
IMO, the 07 XKR looks kick-*** and handles very well. This's the Jag I would pop on an Avos TS and Quaif.

My 03 STR's interior and exterior are in very good shape. Many have complimented how nice she looks.

Though the 06 XKR is beautiful, the 07 XKR gives me the bigger woody.

I've seen the Maserati on the road and it def. turns the heads of those who try to resist turning their heads.

Default Escaping the Paparazzi

Earlier I mentioned my often despicable driving manners. Well, a few weeks ago I must have offended a senior couple cause they were trying to chase me down after a high speed blast. I was like: "Do they really think they could catch me in that grocery getter?" Well, eventually it came to mind they likely wanted to get the numbers off my doctor license plates and turn me into the police and the medical board. I had so much anxiety when coming to stagnant traffic. This got me to thinking.... Seriously, LOL!

LMAO @Grocery Getter...

I'm still waiting on a TwinScrew, And I have looked into the XKR-S but at 150,000 new, I'm waiting a few minutes. There's also an XKR-S GT 0 to 60 in........ 3.4 seconds, suggested retail of 190,000 special edition.

Anyway, I've recently sold a few things and am going to wait a minute and get either of the above mentioned two vehicles. I'm keeping my STR though. I love it's styling and recently put a new wood kit inside.
