Default Missing module in trunk

Hey there I seem to be missing a module from the driver's side trunk, I have absolutely no idea which module it is if anyone can help me out figuring out I would really appreciate it, already went through several documents and Google searches but no luck yet. Please see attached picture for reference

Unless someone paid a fortune you'll be missing lots of modules - quite normal.

Depending on model year, this could also house a DVD unit used for sat/nav. Sits on top of the missing CD changer.

Rather than making different wiring harnesses, Jaguars and Fords of this range of years will have prewiring for just about everything, even if the options are not installed.

Does everything in your car work?

As was posted above the cars are pre-wired for almost all options so it is plug and play on the assembly line.

Thank you for the replies, everything works fine but I have a battery issue it keeps loosing charge over the course of a night I won't be able to start the car, that and it's throwing a couple warnings on the dashboard. The only thing that doesn't work is the rear impact sensors.

Missing modules aren't causing that.

There are a ton of posts about battery drains for you to read for diagnosis etc.

Success it was a navigation module. Apparently someone took it off, now the problem is even thou the battery was disconnected for two days. It's fully charged but the car won't crank, it won't even let me unlock or lock with the key fob, and it's not doing anything cel light on oil light on whent I set it to the start position. No crank. Any advise or should I post a different topic.

I suspect it was never installed from the factory and wouldn't be the reason for a no start condition. Have your battery load tested. If it flunks spring for a new battery.

We need much more info about this car and its history. How long have you owned it, has it ever operated correctly, is this a new problem? What sort of radio does it have?

OK so just bought it, was operating properly when I test drove it but a couple days after I bought it, it started flashing errors. No crash history, no loose wiring other than the trunk. On time services at the dealership. It all seemed to check out, now I did have the battery re tested and it haves a bad cell ( workshops and repair centers here suck) so I'm having one brought in today from the Jaguar dealership. As for the audio it's all standard s package option. It doesn't have any modifications or aftermarket alarms.

Drove pretty good when it was just purchased, fast, no lag on shifts, no strange noise. 40k km on the car. Also checked the fuses all good. Could this be the immobiliser that I read on other posts?

What other posts and do you have the same symptoms?

Does not sound like you do.

If you keep guessing and jumping to conclusions it'll get very expensive.

A new battery should fix your issues. A bad cell would cause all the issues you described.
