Default My 2005 STR cooling fan not turning on

Hello,
My 2005 STR was overheating when sitting still for an extended time so I checked to see if the fan was turning on. It did not turn on even when the AC was maxed. I checked the fuses for the fan and they look good. What do I need to replace to fix the problem.
Thanks,
Ryan

To add

Try to spin the fan (engine off & disconnect battery) If it doesn't spin freely or makes any kind of noise like a pulling, dragging or bearing sound the fan motor is likely shot.

Do not apply 12V to test the motor.

If I remember correctly , there is a fuse for the fan in
The engine bay fuse box can't remember the no# . Also there is a big square wireing harness connector
Behind the r/h fog light attached to the chassis above the under gray that gets wet and corrodes the pins , in witch was the cause of my 03 str blowing its fan fuse ! Wize to check/clean/protect the harness if needed .

Yep saw that ! But did not know there was two fuses ! I did not mention that Occasionally I would find the fuse was ok but fan still not running ! Or I'd replace the blown fuse and the fan would not kick in to life ,
That's how I found the crook plug just riggling plugs around

The fan has not failed since cleaning the plug out 12 monthes ago. Also befor cleaning the plug Occasionally
The fan would not turn off at all ! And would have to remove the fuse to kill it .
That made me think the fan modual was at fault , but it was not !

Provisos to finding the failing plug I purchest a fan control module off eBay to replace mine and removed the fan and shroud with Mutch difficulty , but it turns out that the Str one is a part of the fan motor and not removable and the alloy stand alone ones on eBay are for a v6 s type just a heads up ! The dealer also replaced the (the receipt says) fan and fan control module 6 monthes before I bought the car , and was one of many reasons the car was for sale .as it failed repetitively ! Along with the water in the TPS plug causing limp mode was enuff to drive the previous owner and his wife nuts!
