Need to replace fender.. how does fiberglass rocker panel come off?
Greetings! My S Type got hit in the left fender so I must replace it. This car has a fiberglass rocker panel cover that runs from wheel well to wheel well. I can remove the screws in the bottom clips but something is holding it on from the top. Are there hidden screws or is it a matter of getting a blade under it to pop hidden clips? Or is it glued or taped in place?
Many thanks! I don't want to break anything.

You don't have sufficient posts (minimum 10 required) to be able to download PDF's from the forum so I've put the JTIS Front Bumper Removal section on my MediaFire account. You can download it using this link:
http://www.mediafire.com/view/94tejf...mper_Cover.pdf
It's a 1.2mB PDF. has removal/replacement instructions with diagrams.

Hi Tom...You probably have worked this out by now..but!
Once you have removed all the bottom screws, open both doors and starting at the rear pull the rocker panel using the black mini mud flap.
Pull this straight out from the car as there are other plastic locating tabs that just push into holes..about 8 from memory..these are moulded inside the rocker..
Once you get the first couple to pop it will come of easy...

Great info here, however I had a couple of the clips break off as they were quite brittle during the rocker panel removal. I have downloaded the electronic parts catalog but cannot locate a part number for these. Does anyone have the correct part number or a clip that will work frm another make. Thanks in advance.
