Default NEW driveshaft support bearing..

Over the last few months I've been trying to find an alternate of buying a completely new driveshaft for thousands of dollars.. I got a used to replace old bad one but I think this is going out too . Anyway today I was looking on ebay for a good used ds with bearing.. but I ran into this.. eBay item number: 151686043963 I just ordered one and when I get it I will see if it's correct. (I already bought an ls type bearing with no luck, let's hope this one is legit. Anyone bought one?

Those don't go out much so we don't know.

What was the car doing when the drive shaft support bearing was bad?
I have never replaced one.

Very very loud vibration that shakes the whole car under acceleration. It's the only think it could be. I ordered new shocks to make sure it's not misaligning.

If you can let us know how the repair goes.
This may start to show up as the miles build up on our cars.

I will take photos. I've considered getting my driveshaft balanced to make sure that's good before I put it all on.

Thanks and I hope it fixes your problem.

I am interested because we don't see any problems in this area. I was expecting the rubber Guibos to give problems as I see on BMW's but so far we don't.

All I have is a photo of the bearing. Looks like to get the old one off yiu need something like a gear puller with small teeth. I hope to get it swapped on tomorrow. I'm starting to hear a bearing squeeze while driving when I accelerate or give throttle so it's convincing me even more that's probably what it is. Gotta do it soon don't want a driveshaft flying through my floor board.

I got the new bearing installed sunday and so far it's eliminated the wobbling. I had to change the flex couplings too and I'll show a photo of why. The couplings were so gone tjat under load it was flexing so much that the bolts/nuts were actually hitting them self on the flange of the other flange. Both the rear and front and rear.

Did you have to press the center bearing on like you thought?
Any tips on getting it in?

Did you replace both couplings too?

Yes and no.i used used a pipe the same size as the output shaft and tapped it on to the shaft. I had to use a gear puller to pull the old one off after I cut through all the rubber.
