New Shocks, no topside sensor port.

I bought shocks that were supposed to be compatible for front of 2000 Jag S type v6 3.0 but there is no area to plug in sensor. What happens if I put them in anyway?

The struts are different depending on the type of suspension fitted. The sport suspension includes CATS with the valve actuator wiring while the standard suspension does not. You most likely purchased the struts for the non-sport suspension.

Thank you, just finished researching the Adaptive Suspension stuff, pretty awesome, just cant afford right now. Going to disconnect the Adaptive and use Gas a just shocks for now.

I'm in Missouri and looking to replace shocks this spring. My 2003 STR has the CATS system - how much are you looking to get for them and where are you located?
