Default New Shoes for the S Type Sport

Came across a good price for these 20X9's. Figured they would be great fit for the Jag.
Gotta get a set of tires and wait for the weather to warm up before I can throw them on, thought I would share anyway.

Not my cup of tea, but hey, if the price is right...

P.S. When will we see your Jag with a mesh grill?

Unfortunately, never. I hate mesh grills, Much prefer the slats.

The rims look sweet.

I just retired my 2000 e39. It was beyond repair. IMHO, one of the greatest cars ever made.

I wouldn't mind seeing a lot more pictures of BOTH cars. They look great.

Two questions: The tyres front/rear on the BMW appear to be different patterns?

And how do you manage to have the same licence plate on both cars, our system over in Europe must be different, as each vehicle is uniquely identified.

I can post a few more of the M5 ( I have tons) but not sure I have many more of S type. I do promise to do a proper photo shoot in the next month or so with both cars together, as the M5 is getting a few modifications and will look much better and the Jag is getting the wheels put on.

As far as the tyres, they are different FR/RR. I am running REAR wheels (9.5") on all 4 corners with 275 tires. When I bought the two extra rears, they needed tires so I bought 2 new ones. Now I need to replace the rears and if I am buying new I will match the 4 together.

The plate thing was temporary, the Jag has its own plates now.

Thanks,

Sweet, thanks for the extra pics.

I too would be a happy chappy if I had one of those (M5).

Look forward to seeing your S Type mods.

Thanks transporter;

as promised here are some updated pictures with the wheels on and a full exterior polish/detail. I didn't have my DSLR but these will have to do.

I love how it has turned out, and the handling transformation is incredible.
Tires are 245fr/255rr /35/20.
