Default p0745 & p0795 again

So I'm getting these two codes on my 00' 3.0 and I go ahead and replace the solenoid pack.. I pick her back up and it's driving fine for about 10 miles and guess what? Another gearbox fault of p0745 & P0795....

Could the cause be a few broken valve springs or is my tranny on the way to being totally rebuilt?

No input?...Well I have have a 4-3 spring on the way and I'll drop down the valve body next week and see if the spring is the culprit (gear fault on 4th &5th).

I guess you have already seen TDC's thread in the FAQ's on the 4-3 spring replacement?

Other than that the best I can do is wish you good luck!

Well no luck..I pulled out the valve body this past weekend and my 4-3 spring wasn't broken at all... Since I took all that time to get the valve body out I went ahead and changed the spring anyway...still getting the gear box fault when I hit 4th and come back down.

Not trying to insult you, but did you reset the ECU after you replaced everything?

Well the battery was unhooked for a couple of hours while I was working on it. I've cleared the code with my scanner after it popped up to see if it repeated the problem under the same conditions which it did. Was there anything else I would've needed to do?

Once I get up to 4th, say around 45-50 mph, and have to come back down it's getting stuck in the incorrect gear and I get the gearbox fault and p0745. If I get up to 5th, say around 70-80 mph range, I get both p0745 and p0795 along with the gearbox fault message. My scanner says solenoid A and C. Shop scanner says incorrect gear gear ratio 4th (p0734) and 5th (p0735).

No. Where are they located? I searched but maybe I overlooked it.

Also check that the tran's input and output shaft sensors are connected and working. This may explain incorrect rear gear ratio?

From what I'm seeing the extra info for p0745 is saying:

Pressure control solenoid 1drive circuit: short
circuit to ground; open circuit
Pressure control solenoid 1 failure

And it's the same thing for p0795 except it's solenoid 3 instead of 1.

The p0734/5 will be set when the aforementioned codes are present and ABS/TRACC will be inhibited...I guess this explains why my ABS and TRAC light are on...

I've replaced my solenoid pack so should I be looking for a short somewhere as my next logical step?

I'll see if I can look for those connections this evening after work.

Could be a bad connector or chafed harness. Which might be a pain to find. (Sorry!) I don't know where it runs or even whether it would be reasonably easy to route another (DIY replacement) harness.

The full jag diags can read signals I understand and if it's loose enough I guess it would be possible to read them while wiggling wiring.

I suppose it also could be some internal (to trans) short or damage.

If you can disconnect the wiring I suppose you could end-to-end test it while wiggling as best you can. Maybe...
