Default painting brake calipers vs covers?

What do you guys think painting vs caliper covers? Anyone ever paint theres or use covers? Guy told me at rim shop that paint only lasts about a year becaise of the rust and it costs about 60 bucks to paint all 4.

Paint all the way. I've seen the covers and I am not a huge fan.

Disassemble, powdercoat and get a rebuild kit - never deal with it again.

about whats the cost to powdercoat them? I dont want to spend hundreds of dollars just to have the calipers painted. But for the right price I do not mind doing them.

Depends on your area, here the local shop charged me $45 each on another car. They clean, sandblast and coat them as part of the process.
