682 Adv Electrical 02-20-02
684_SG
I have them from my Jaguar training days at the dealer but the 682 and 684 are very large .pdf files that will not upload to this site.
Gus seems to have the 682 Adv Electrical 02-20-02 on his site" (jagrepair) but the MXAD is a smaller one.
The 684_SG was not on the internet that I could find.
Haven't made any update on this because for the past 3 weeks I'm having so much fun with the f&@#*$n locksmith. Every day telling me that he will come to install the new (3rd) transceiver (previous 2 not working) and every day he doesn't come. On Thursday I told him to give the transceiver to someone that can come and install it and he told me that he was going to give it to his son. his son was going to come on Friday and gave me his number, Guest what, his son doesn't answer the phone, won't answer via whatsapp (Friday, Saturday neither today) and didn't came.
Today I called again the locksmith and told him what was happening with his son, he tryed to called him, and... (drums bit), his son didn't answer hi either. So, again "he will come" to install the part tomorrow
Funiest part, he is the only one in this city with the equipment to install the transceiver in the Jag
we'll, I give up with this locksmith, three and a half weeks waiting for him. I will buy the transceiver from ebay and will call another locksmith in the nearest city to make just the installation. (the previous 2 transceiver that the locksmith brought was find locally and didn't work)
I will need your help in one thing, the transceiver have different numbers/codes on it, one of them always matching (circled in red in the next photo), and the other two never matching (circled in blue).
The number/code that I need to buy this part is the one circled in red?
I have search for it like Jag transceiver and it will cost me US$99, and when I search it by Ford US$20, in both cases the number/code circled in red been the same.
Update: I stopped calling the locksmith (at the end the transceiver was good, that's not the problem) and search for a mechanic that have the equipment and also works with Ford/jaguar cars. Yesterday a send the car to his workshop
Update: almost a month, went today to see the mechanic at his workshop, he told me that there's no communication, he has checked the electrical diagram of the communication network (translating directly from Spanish, so don't know if this is the real name), he explained that he has traced the problem to a "splicer" (that's the name that he gave me) but he can't find the location of it.
Does any of you guys know where's the location of this "splicer" or the location of all the splicer. Or if someone have a Jaguar sheet with all those splicer location.
Yes, I downloaded that PDF, and Norris attached that same figure. But what I'm missing is the exact physical location of the FC35. Having trouble finding it.
In the PDF That Norris attached it says that is located behind the glove box, but still the mechanic haven't found it. That's why I attached a PDF with a diagram of a 2004 where there is lots of the FC but not the #35. And ask if the location is the same for the LH and RH car (in the LH the glove box is in the Right, invers for the RH), the location could change depending on the car.
Does anyone know the exact physical location apart from the location mention in the manual (behind the glove box). Any picture, video, description, etc that can help.

You may be a pioneer here. As far as the manual, some of this stuff isn't very well documented at all. You'd almost never need access to this plug, so not much attention was expended describing the location. (I used to be a tech writer, I know how it works...)
Same goes with other forum members having firsthand knowledge. Very little need for access, so I doubt you will find anybody who knows the exact location.
Has your mechanic found a break in the circuit through this connector? He should be able to access the components on either side, and check continuity between them. If good, there's no reason to physically locate the connector.
Update: went yesterday to see how he was going with the car, he told he stopped several days ago to finish other easier cars, on monday he will start againg with it.
Saddly this is how the interior looks like right now
Update: Finally found the location of the FC35 junction. The manual specify that the location is behind the glove box, but that's for the british S Type (right hand steering wheel, left hand glove box). For north American cars the location is the same left side of the car but as the steering and glove box change on this side of the pond the FC35 is behind of the instrument cluster, next to the left side air vent.
This is the FC35 Junction, the mechanic lower it right above the pedals to work better on it, but the real location is behind the instrument cluster in the north american version
Location of the FC35 Junction in the North American S Type Version
Exact location behind the instrument cluster, FC35 not in this picture because it was lower to work better on it
3 weeks ago I was in surgery because of an inguinal hernia, I had trouble with the anesthesia which caused a very high heart rate, high blood pressure, and vomiting a lot and I had to stay in the ICU for several days. I am now in the process of recovery from the surgery.
Went today to see how the mechanic was going with the car, Still in the same point... Cranking but not starting,
Supposedly he called another guy who also works with Jaguars and is coming to work on the car this weekend. That guy is from the capital of the Dominican Republic, So, he will have to travel 4 houres to my city.
I'm really desperate to finish the car and finally use it like my dad did, take care of it like he wanted me to. A little frustrating to see the car like this
