Default Please help with tps problem

Hey Guys, so recently my car has been having some trouble. While your driving or parked, the car will idle to 1500 RPM and only accelerate to 3000 RPM then it turns on a red light and says the following messages: Engine systems fault, dsc not available, cruise control not available, and some other stuff. I put the scanner on and it gives me code P2135 Throttle/ Pedal Position Sensor/ Switch A/B Voltage correlation. Also it wont go more than 20MPH and when you turn it off it stutters off. Other problems currently happening, when climate control is on low it only blows heat. No matter what i do it only blows heat. I already changed the DCCV and that didnt help. Hope you guys can help, all i wanna do now is get rid of it. BTW its a 05 S-Type 3.0 AT with approximately 35,000 miles...

You can try cleaning the throttle body and the connectors and reset the code. Chances are, however, that you will just have to bite the bullet and replace the throttle body.

The other thing is to check fuel trims and is it running CL (see my sig).

Suppose you have a failing battery then a TB is horrifically expensive and would do nothing.

Or an air leak. Ditto.

The battery was replaced not so long ago and i had it tested and its good. Im gonna try the throttle body because I have a used Jaguar parts dealer near me so it wont be that expensive if not ill keep looking for possible causes.

Read & do Police666's suggestion above (see attachment) first. It costs nothing but time and could solve your problem and save you mega$$$.

Default running problems

A 2005 car with very low mileage should not be having throttle body problems.
The high idle speed and unable to rev beyond 3000rpm, combined with the other warnings like dsc and cruise, would indicate a bad connection somewhere.
You could disconnect the battery, then remove and replace every fuse and relay.
Check connections to TB, and to main computer.

Ok guys so I ended up changing the throttle body with one I got from a Jag Graveyard and it solved the problem. I still have the problem with the A/C though so if anyone has any ideas it would be much appreciated. Thanks to all of you guys that gave me ideas and suggestions, you guys are awesome and I feel great to part of this community of Jaguar owners.
