Ok so I took the stock mufflers off to install the Mina exhaust. Had trouble fitting them so ran the car without mufflers for 2 days. No problems. Finally got the Mina exhaust fitted right with some modifying. Anyway, now that the Mina mufflers are on the check engine light came on. Codes as listed above. Reset it and within 40 miles the light came back on with same codes.

What are the chances the exhaust made such a change for this to occur? Doesn't seem likely. Especially being how I ran the car with no mufflers for 2 days without any problems. Next question is what's the fix? New 02 sensors? Or 02 sensor spacers? Also the left cat has been replaced with OEM Jaguar cat I would say within the last yr or so. It's still shinny and looks brand new compared to the right side which looks original still. Lastly the car still falls under the 8yr 80,000 mile warranty on the cats..... Any help would be greatly appreciated as always!

 

Make sure you didn't stretch the wiring on the O2 sensors when doing the exhaust install. That's the only thing I can think of that would be related; otherwise there's a good chance your cats are toast and to take advantage of the warranty.

 

Hey wuzupez, were you able to resolve the problems you had with your exhaust throwing codes? I'm looking to order a mina system in the next couple of days.

 

Haven't figured it out as of yet. It keeps throwing cat codes. I reset it and the same 2 codes return within 25 miles. It definitely wouldn't have anything to do with the Mina exhaust. Plus I ran the car for a couple days without mufflers at all and didn't have any problems. Might just be a fluke thing that when they went bad it was the same time I did the Mina install. I will post some pics for you of the exhaust. It is a very nice add on!

That's a nice looking system, I just received an email from Chris quoting me a price shipped to the UK. I was gonna go for it before I worked out the taxes I'd have to pay when they arrived. Looking at those pictures are giving me second doubts haha. Hope you get the problems sorted soon
