Default Priming issue

I have a 2003 jaguar S-type 4.2 liter. It not priming right. Sometimes will prime and it will crack up and run and drive just fine till you turn it off then it stops priming it will stop priming anywhere between a few minutes or day till it works again.

Here is a list of what I have done so far to try and fix it.
1. Replace main and secondary fuel pumps
2. Placers all fuses with new ones
3. New fuel injectors
4. New o2 sensors

It out of my leugue now any help would be must helpful

Did you replace both pumps with new OEM units or used? I've also read about one of the check valves within the fuel pump system not working properly and crapping out.

Could be the case if you swapped in used fuel pump units.

Finally, if you swapped out the actual fuel pumps did you purchase the correct pump that puts out at least 4.7 BAR. Other pumps are identical but put out about 1 BAR less...

Daron: Looking at your list, one thing missing is the fuel filter. A filter full of debris or contaminants, often will cause intermittent blockages and symptoms similar to what you describe in your original post.

I would like to add that when I put all this parts run it was working fine drove it down the road and got gas. Got home and it didn't start again it will not prime at all now and a code came up that is po430. I know that the o2 sensors and fuel pumps are together does the code mean I need a new cat convertor
