Problem Rear View Mirror w Auto-Dim
I have Rear View Mirror w Auto-Dim/Compass in my 2000 Jaguar S Type. It seem to be stuck between Auto-Dim off and on with Auto-Dim covering most of the mirror except for the top third or so. Can this be fixed or is it a replace?

I suspect you need to replace it. You might want to check if the forward-facing light sensor is blocked but to me this sounds like the elctrochromic fluid layer is on the move.

Replace it NOW... Search here on other threads regarding Auto Dim mirror failure.. JagV8 has named the fluid in the mirror "dragons blood". Let's just say that if it leaks it will wreak havoc on your interior.....
