Default Radio not finding stations

I have a problem, I removed all connections to the radio and reconnected, all is great, even MW stations. A day later, back to normal. I have replaced radio with another unit and still have the same problem. Removed amplifier connector in rear `C' pillar radio dropped off when I removed cable and signal back on again when I reconnected, however signal just drops to hissing! Please Help. I don't mind an alternative such as a booster in 12V socket in armrest. CD Player works Ok. Don't think my model has Bluetooth though!

TIA

Jim

Does your rear heated screen work as it should?

Hi,
Thanks for the input. Rear screen does work, although a bit hard to tell if 100% as it is so mild.
Does my model have bluetooth?

Isn't the antenna embedded in the rear window? Perhaps that connector got knocked loose when you were working in the C pillar area?

Didn't touch anything when I inspected the amplifier in `C' pillar. What is odd is the radio works fine when I disconnect the 2 connectors in the rear of radio. Then a day later signal drops out, so tend to think it is the radio, then again I replaced the radio and got same symptoms!
