Normally when i unlock my car with the fob my indicators flash twice, but the last time unlocked it they flashed rapidly maybe 5-7 times.

does anyone know what this means ?

I think it might mean a door or boot is ajar - but not 100% sure.

 

i thought that, but everything is closed, the car locks, then on second press deadlocks.

When you unlock your car from being deadlocked for an hour or more, how many times to the lights flash ?

The reason i ask is when i dead lock it and open it after a few mins i get the normal 2 flashes, but left for an hour i get rapid flashes.

I don't know if this is normal as i used to have it parked in a secure carpark at night and never used the deadlocking, but now i have moved and the car is parked on a street, i have only just started using the deadlocking
