My '01 does not have the rear seat cup holders but my '03 does have them.
Rick, I totally missed your 5 yr old leather treatment thread! Did you ever get that stain out? I've had great luck with Glipstick, by Gliptone on stains.
The entire rear seat lower portion will need to be replaced (try to match the color please) to have rear cupholders. You could try a salvage yard for the seat cushion.
There are plastic locking tabs on the upper and lower casing insides.
The holder has to be open and the tabs are back a few inches.
If I remember there should be 2 upper and 2 lower.
A long sharp angled 'pick' should be used to pry the plastic tabs toward the inside of the cupholder case. The entire housing can be slid out of the seat and be repaired/replaced.
I have a BOX full of plastic colored trim covers for the drawers (they are removable).
I think they used to come with all 3 color trim covers when a new cupholder assy was ordered but it has been a LOOOOOONG time since I did any of these repairs.
It is easier to see the lock tabs when you have a NEW one in your hand.

As a matter of fact I have a BOX FULL of child seat tether covers for sedans.
Some are X308, some are X200 and even X400????
I don't know what part number or trim color you need but look it up and give some info.
I'll see what I've got.

What do I have to do to get a few that would match the "ivory" interior? Wait until the wifey has a "Bobs dead fire sale"?
Actually I will have to get the correct part number to match.

At least I am not the only one missing one these! Bugs the hell out of me because it's the center one and I can see it in the rear view mirror.
I had to bite the bullet and get the entire seat belt anchor with the cover. XR842622LEG.
The LEG means black or charcoal in Jag lingo. About $35 bucks. But it's fixed now.

Been there a couple of times.
As of a few years back, one could just purchase the plastic cover for under $15.00, now you are forced to purchase the whole damn anchor for the $35.00.
Crap we shouldn't be saying this, Bobs wife is going to raise her price.
