Find code then reset to clear old "resolved" code. Likely nothing wrong.

Default engine light on

the code is P 0102 - MAF low input. However, that code was present prior to replacing the pump without the engine light on ( i believe two differnet issues). the engine light only came on after i replace the pump and started the engine. the code is still present after erasing the code and re-reading.

Clean or replace MAF sensor. Or check it's electrical connection.

Agreed. They are easy to clean - pull the electrical plug, remove two screws, and the MAF sensor pops off. Use a spray can of MAF sensor cleaner, available at any auto parts store. Be careful not to touch the internal element with anything other than the spray solution. Spray it thoroughly, let it dry for two or three minutes. Spray it again, let it dry thoroughly for ten or fifteen minutes, then re-install, clear the codes again, and go for a test drive. If the code returns, you may need to spring for a new MAF sensor....
