replacement engine and misfires
The 2 banks are very different but how on earth vacuum reading would help I don't understand.
You might have multiple problems going on so let’s work to eliminate what we can.
Take both cam covers off and see if the cams are in line. Then we can at least rule that out.
It's not much work to get the cam covers off.

A perfect mechanically running V8 I think should be reading somewhere around 18. I think 15 is low because the timing is off. If I can compare that to actual good readings , it might help me determine if I have a mechanical problem.
I know it's old-school but vac readings can yield a great deal of Valuable information in addition to besides fuel trims spark advance ignition coils plugs etc.

Looks. Like I will be pulling the valve covers. However, I would love to know what normal readings are for vacuum so that when I repair the engine check it again I can confirm that Low vac readings can "potentially ". Indicate the timing is off
Supposing vac is less than expected I don't see how that leads to a very lean bank or how to avoid looking at the actual timing as tbird6 says.
No, wait. Lean just means air which includes bad burning. Bad timing means bad burning and/or escape of gases I suppose.
If it's bad burning then it'll continue in the cats, which are at risk of being destroyed.

I'm going to upload picture of right cam bank alignment. Intake cam shave shaft flat level with the deck, exhaust cam seems to be off by about 12°-15 degrees.
It's off. I don't know if you have seen the proper cam alignment tool but it's just a flat bar that bolts across the flats while you assemble everything else. You really can't do it right without locking the cams down.
You have been very lucky that the valves have not smashed into the pistons as it looks like you are most likely one tooth off. Count your blessings and change all we have talked about. It's a requirement, not an option!
Here is the tool. You can even rent it.

Yes, I have the tool and used it on the left bank when I swapped head on used motor. I ASSUMED the right bank, which I did not touch would be ok. I now realize that if you "adjust" the timing on one bank it could affect timing on other bank. Also checked compression cyl 1 185 psi , cyl 2 180 psi, cyl 3 180, cyl 4 195 psi, only a little off , but misfires cyl 2-3. I also assumed that the previous owner had everything in line. that was a mistake. I will install crank lock and reset timing.
Thanks for the help. I will report back on results

Thanks to all no misfires, no CE else, only had to adjust the exhaust cam, the intake was right on the money. Thanks for all your help .you guys are great my donation is forthcoming.
See attached pics of cam hold down, 3/4
Inch bolt crank pin, cam holding tool, wrench
To tighten exhaust manifold studs that
Extension won't reach and very long ghetto
Wrench to get at the 3000 pesky
Bell housing bolts( realized later that it is easier to
Pull them both at same tome!!)
Have almost $6.27 in these tools so need to
Get my my money back !!
Again, thanks for everyone's help
