Replacing Coils

I have a 00 s-type. I am right now trying to find 4 and 5 were is it?
And what do i need to do to replace it? I dont want to reset the battery or disconnect do i need too?
If I have to how do you reset the computer afterwards?

Just to let you know, I and another member with early S-types have had a problem with the wiring loom chafing near the fuel rail connector. The coil wires for that bank run through there. I changed some coils twice before I found the fault.

Need some coils? I have 8 gently used coils. throw a dog a bone and they are yours. if It helps.

Er... not if they're from an STR. The various engine sizes & years use different coils.

No sir they are from my 4.0 sport.

I know the STR uses a different coil.

I'll have a set of those left over too.
