Thats a lean code. It typically shows up with a bad or dirty MAF. Do you use a reusable air filter (like a k&n) cause that can ruin the MAF if it's over oiled. You really need a scanner with streaming data to see what the computer is seeing.

I have the same Code with my S-Type, unfortunately I already replace the Fuel Injector Regulator because it had the air line broken, but there still an air filtration under the plenum. Please give me some advice. Thanks in advance.

The rough idle (and the code) suggest an air leak.

For the 3.0, search for PCV elbow as they tend to perish and leak.

Also I already replace the PCV line/ elbow. There is a hsssssssss on the back side of the engine near the PCV valve. I already took off the plenum and replace the gaskets but the air leakage persists. Is there is any other part that need to be replaced or it's the PCV that needs to be replaced?

Any other advice? Thanks in advance and have a nice week end.

Again search for PCV elbow. There are several places where this can leak on the 6 cylinder engines. You will need to remove the intake manifold to properly access this. So if the manifold has not been pulled I doubt that the correct elbow was replaced. Confused a bit by replacing the gaskets? it's not the intake that leaks. Was there a reason for replacing the intake gaskets? They should be reusable?

Matt: I think you should inspect the coils and see if any oil is present. How many miles on the car? You can spend a lot of time and money doing them one at a time. The car is now 6+ years old. Coils are a wear item. I would consider changing all 6 coils and plugs. If you find oil in the plug wells then be sure and change the gaskets as well.

Thanks a lot for your advice. Yes I was wondering the leak was on an injector because the noise is near the last injector at the right side but it is not. Yes, I replaced the inteake gaskets by mistake.

The leak is already on the elbow under the PCV, I will go to the Jaguar dealer to get a new elbow. Thanks
