Google for "Engine repair course code 168" and download. You really need it.

Grab everything vaguely useful from the extra files on here. Hunt around Gus's JagRepair.com - Jaguar Repair Information Resource as well.

Now, this sort of thread just doesn't seem to happen on the UK forum. I admit that I have no use for this knowledge myself, but my experience of the UK forum gives me the feeling that it's all about the minutia of everyday life rather than in depth knowledge like this.

Apologies to any UK members, but that's just how it seems.

Well i'm getting there slowly. this is where i'm at with the machining so far. hopefully i will have the cam gear mount/adjustment slots cut out by a friend on his mill next week then i can carry on with making the locating key way and marking out the degree markings on the pully.

Not sure what your trying to do?

Are you wanting to lock the VVT out completely and put the engine back to fixed cam timing?
