How easy is it to change from the phone console to the Sat NAV console for an S Type 2003? Is there much rewiring or is it plug and play?

 

What's the phone console?

Do none of the existing threads about retrofitting/upgrading cover this?

 

Perhaps "phone console" could refer to the "non SatNav screen" central dash? Is there a phone hiding in there somewhere? I know of an S-Type formerly owned by Maxwell Smart that has a phone sown into the sun visor . . . but then that can't be it . . . that one went under the hammer . . . they missed it by just thaaat much!!!
