Hi all I am wondering if any one knows who used to make a module that went into the drivers door to enable global opening and closing of the doors, windows and sunroof.I did buy one from him a few years back but then sold it with my car, but now I have bought another S type and would like to put it on this one.

I thought all late cars, such as yours, would have it.

It relies on either the key in the door or a constant fob button press - did you try each of those?

 

The features can be ENABLED/DISABLED with IDS or SDD.

I assume you talking about the auto mirror fold module, not global closing, as global closing is built in as standard
there quite easy to make, if your handy with a soldering iron, all bits are available on ebay
if you want the info on how to make pm me and I will send them to you
there widely available online if you search

The OP does appear to mean global open/close. I think Bob (motorcarman) has the answer

there is no module, but yes it can be enabled in the dealer options with Jaguar ids/sdd
1 thing that most be people dont know is, the door locking button on the dash can also be used as global opening and closing
