S Type Part Needed Urgent
I have a Jaguar S Type R and someone stole a small panel off the front bumper and I need to know what it's called so I can replace it. The back of the small exterior panel says 4R83-17E810-A >ABS< R/H
Hi,
I can see you need urgent help but please don't post the very same message under certain posts , multiple same posts aren't allowed . Instead, I moved one of your messages and made a new thread for you , this is also way much easier way to be noticed by others .
Thanks

jagg can we say "dealer" (Nalley Jaguar notice the HUGE banner at the top of the homepage) if its so urgent?? Or try www.car-part.com for a previously enjoyed replacement
And those USUALLY arent stolen but tend to POPOUT and fall off when you either bump a curb parking, or go into a steep drive the scrapes the bottom corner off the front end. Since yours is the right side(most common since most turns at an angle into a steep drive are to the right) that would be my estimate of what really happened.....
Thank you everyone for your replies. Yes, it was definitely stolen and they used a flat head screw driver to pop it off while I was in a store.
Still no one knows what this part is called no matter where I go and the local Jaguar dealership is very far from where I live. I called and left their head mechanic messages but he never returns the calls.
I once spoke with him and he said he'd look into it but then he never called me back. I got frustrated with him and stopped trying.

can't order the piece if I don't know what it's called. Thank you for the suggestion though. Plus parts for the Jaguar S type are not always the same for the S type R. My front bumper is entirely different

how about a pic of the front of the car...i'd like to see what's missing.
Someone else probably lost theirs, and saw you had two perfectly good ones. I really dislike people that help themselves.

they are small, curved, and easily removable. The person who took it didn't need to use a screw driver (which scratched the paint). The standard S type does not have these removable pieces.
I went to an auto body shop just down the road and asked them if they could find out and I'd pay them to replace it but that was 2 months ago. I since called and they said they couldn't find out what the piece was officially called or where to get it.
