Default S Type R fuel pump help?

I picked up an '04 S Type R early this year, and it didn't run. It need a new driver side fuel pump, but I don't have the money for the entire assembly. If there any place that I can buy just the electric pump its self?

ebay has some new and used stuff, just make sure you are viewing an R model listing....they are unique to that vehicle...I have bought a couple oem parts from a yard in texas that has a good warranty and I trust them.....usaautoparts I believe..more than likely you will get replies that will state use oem jag pumps only and that is what I say also...I do not have experience to back that up on a fuel pump...but have read a lot of posts by guys I have come to trust on this forum that do have that experience...that is why I say oem jaguar

Check out parts prices with the Jaguar independents. There are a few here on the forum.

My pleasure, its what we do.
There are parts independents online too, including the UK, you really shouldn't need to pay top dollar.
Got to be careful with pattern parts, but some Jaguar electrical components come from companies like Bosch as an example. My advice is to do your research and get the correct part for your year and model. That in itself can be an issue until you get to know more. For one year model one part can have maybe four different types of the same part. It takes time to get familiar with the parts routine for your exact car.
With something as critical as a fuel pump I would stick with an OEM part. I'm changing the spark plugs on mine soon but will be buying OEM intake gaskets because they will work well.

I forgot one thing.
Don't ever be concerned about asking questions on here. The depth of knowledge and experience is considerable. Some STR owners will be along soon to give you more information.

Does anybody have any links to suppliers who would have it for cheap and could ship it overnight? I have six days left to get my car running. I'm leaving for UTI in Arizona this Saturday.
