S type R Hard ECU Reset

What is the official way to reset the ECU on the STR. The trip/reset doesn’t work, maybe only for standard s type? Thanks

Disconnect both battery terminals and touch both terminals together for 30 - 60 seconds.

Note that also resets the fuel trims, OBD monitors, etc - be wary if you have smog test due!
