You need a double-sided HD blank DVD -r to burn the file on. Yes, extract it first. Read post #14 for how to load it.

No, I already have my own copy of the file. It's been used to fix 2 other Jags successfully.

where did you get the file? Or do you have the file that you can post so I can download ? I screwed up my wife’s AC and stereo controls on her car, thank GOD the weather has been mild since then but it’s about to get cold here in 3 days and I’m scrambling to find this file and burn it and install in her car. technicial question..

i downloaded the loading kwi file but i cannot unzip that...the program i use is winrar..could someone tell me the procedure for write the disk? and how i will unzip it first?
also i have dvd+r dl ...is that the correct one???

Everything you need is in the thread, have a read of post #81.

There are a few links to the file in the thread. Try another as I know the one I posted in #86 is not zipped.

 

I finally found an aftermarket 12” screen that works with my fiber optic factory wiring. I’ve looked for 4 yrs now and finally found one. It was plug and play and came with a back up camera.

 

This was by far a very frustrating thing to fix I had spent hours and hours and hours of looking and trying and I finally figured it out I ended up having to litterly make a disk my self and unzip compressed filed its worked for my type s 2003 and friends 2009 jag as well you I do have a copy tht I can email to you if msgd or you can buy one from person I bought from his email is jonathanratcliff32@gmail.com he has updates and software that will fix ur prob or inbox me and I can provide files I have as well as answer any questions
