Hello TristanC,
Thank you for creating such a great post for installing a navigation unit in an S Type.
Could you please provide any details that you may have for contacting Jostaffs?
I'm hoping that Jostaffs can help me sort out which connector I need to have made, in order to install an OEM navigation unit into my 2003 S Type.
Kind Regards,
Brian

Hello Norri,
Thanks for commenting on my post.
Are you referring to TristanC or Jostaffs not being active on the forum for almost a year?
If Jostaff is not available, hopefully there's another informed enthusiast out there who can provide assistance/guidance on the following...
I just purchased a 2003 Jaguar S Type, with a center console containing the standard climate control unit and aftermarket DVD/Radio unit.
Additionally, I purchased an OEM center console (from the same model and year) which has the CD/radio unit and climate control/navigation unit.
The old climate control unit has two female DIN ports, which match the two male DIN plugs in the cars wiring harness.
The "new" climate control unit with navigation that I just purchased comes with only one female DIN port.
As a result, my question is, is there an existing connecter available which combines the two factory female DIN connectors into one?
As for the aftermarket DVD/Radio unit the car came with, I removed the adapter for the aftermarket radio so the original radio harness connects directly to the unit.
Below are pictures of all of the components mentioned above, for everyones reference.
I hope you can help me.
Kind Regards,
Brian
Comparison of new and old units from the front. New unit is on the left.
Detail of climate control ports from old unit, which accepts two plugs.
Detail of newly purchased climate control unit, which accepts only one plug (top port). The bottom port accepts the car's wiring harness correctly.
Close up of first climate control plug from wiring harness.
Close up of second climate control plug from wiring harness.

I just upgrade my Stype yesterday, when I press AUDIO is always shows "communication fault", and the other buttons sometimes no response when I press them. I have to restart it.
I am thinking maybe is the D2B problem because the SDD system shows "?" on my D2B system. But my CD player FM and CDC works perfect.
Any Ideas?

Hate to bring up old threads
So, I hate to bring up an old thread. but through all my searching, this is the closest I can find, I own a 2003 s type, with no touchscreen etc, I've found a breaker who will sell me 'everything needed' for a very low price. I have no problems with taking seats pr carpet out to do something like this, I do tend to get quite bored. My mI question is, can anyone actually list me all the components needed? Im aware of the head unit (obviously)
Nav drive in boot
Wiring loom
And the climate control module?
Is there anything else before I go and collect said parts?
Thanks in advance!
