Talking Service records??

I've recently purchased a low mileage X200 and having a difficult time figuring what dealerships have worked on her. Is there a way to find out the service history with just my vin (last 8 digits)?

Thanks in advance

Drop in a dealer and see if they can tell you.

Actually found a shop who had a couple service records from 3 years back but not a lot history. Can't believe a car with such low mileage doesn't have records on hand, smh.

I ask the seller before buying. Can you not do that?

If serviced at a dealer, they have the records.

It may not have been serviced fully, of course...

It's a car, same as any other in these respects.

Unfortunately, wasn't able to buy it from the seller directly. I was informed they were very very elderly.

I always ask if there are service records from sellers prior to purchasing.

Asked the dealer in which this beauty was serviced and they informed about the last 20K miles of service which wasn't much.

I want to find out if the tensioners have been changed for piece at mind.
