Wife’s car is 2012, XJS with 16500 miles. Every time we start it the message “service required shows up. Last time at dealer they wanted to sell me a 60,000 service pack. Car runs great, I keep up and check belts, fluids etc w no issues.

question to forum,

1. how do I remove the “service required” message at start up or,

2. will FORSCAN work on a Jaq?

3. is there a ODB programmer that will remove flag and where can I find info

It can't be a 2012 XJS - the two door Coupe and Convertible ceased production in 1996. It is likely to be one of the four door 2012 XJ saloons in production from 2009 to date? Please confirm and I'll move your question to the relevant model forum.
