When my car was towed to the dealership to have the new TCM programmed, they must've really screwed something up when they screwed the hook into the front. After using pb blaster on it a few days, nobody still couldn't pull it out. Until it snapped.... twice!

It has a left hand thread!

 

Anyone know what size thread? Or where to get the tow hook from? Mine doesn't have one anymore.

 

I thought about that and mentioned it to the manager. I tried it both ways with my hand, but they tried it with a 4' bar. Although I'm pretty sure they tried turning it the wrong way first.

The plate it screws into looks like it can unbolt from the frame and replaced. That little metal bracket is $120 from jaguar! Thankfully the army trained me as a machinist

 

The thread size should be M16X3.0 LH
I think they are the square ACME threads
