Klexicon,

Sorry these tubes will only fit supercharged engines as the configuration is totally different to the N/A.

Just installed mine on the XJR

I have also had the intake ceramic coated black
With the coating the intake was cool to touch after a 30min drive

Details are here https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...e3/#post720811

Cheers

Do you have any Stage 1 Intakes left? I'd like one with the Black Rubber fitting. Please let me know what the price is and I'll take care of it immediately.

I fitted my custom Range Rover version (90mm instead of 80mm) and added a custom PCV return link due to the Land Rover version being slightly different for the same engine. It's made the car a LOT faster with supercharger whine coming in when you really floor it, otherwise you wouldn't hear it was there. You will however definitely feel it as it's given the car a LOT more shove. I wasn't expecting much of an improvement on a 3 ton car, but this was absolutely worth the money and the faffing about to get the PCV return sorted. I've included pictures of the kit fitted, along with what it replaced. I used green hose because a) I like the colour b) I don't care about the colour of hoses c) it was cheap d) you can't see it once the engine cover is on!

And before anyone tells me my engine bay is filthy, you try cleaning the bugger! I go off-roading a lot so keeping it show car clean would give me OCD.

I tossed a kit together for the 4.2L XF Supercharged. Unfortunately it doesn't have quite the increase in supercharger noise like the videos of the XJ above. the XF must have had some other changes to the supercharger to quiet it down. I still love my new setup though.

Hi Caldoofy,

I'm interested in purchasing one stage 1 intake tube with the black silicone hose connectors. I also PM'd you on jaguarforum.co.uk but I'm unsure whether it went through due to my lack of posts. Please advise me on whether you have any available. Thanks

I've been waiting for the stage 2 carbon air intake tube. I'm not sure I can hold off much longer. Do you still have the stage 1s available?

Thanks

Same here, I was waiting for stage 2 but if it isn't ready yet, I'll go stage 1.
