I've searched this forum and checked sales literature, but I'm unable to get a clear answer on who makes the standard cd player and speakers on my 03 s type. I know Alpine made the upgraded system, but nobody seems to know anything about the standard system. I know it doesn't have the allure of the Alpine system, but I'm willing to bet the standard system was installed in the vast majority of s stypes. I know it's not going to be an audiophile system, but I'm sure someone out there has upgraded their headunit and speakers and noticed who made them. I'd hate to waste an afternoon popping panels and turning screwdrivers if I don't have to...but I'd really like to know. Your thoughts?

 

Not sure but I am hoping Santa will bring me some new speakers!!
