Default Steering feels "loose"

2001 jag s type v6

Have replaced ALL suspension bushings upfront. New control arms, new tie rod ends. The car seems to drift right or left slightly while driving. Seems like it only happens above 45mph. Almost want to say only when I hit small bumps. Feels kinda like a boat when it does it. I have noticed the rear suspension bushings are all worn out and need replaced, all stabilizers are still connected. Could the worn bushings in the rear cause this??? Have checked everything upfront to insure all ball joints and sway bars are connected and tight. I jacked the car up and moved the front wheels. No play.

Did you use the correct parts? Using inadequate ones can mean too much play and then problems as you describe.

Have you had the car aligned?
With all those new parts in the front but worn out stuff in the rear you may need to replace all that too?
