I'm wondering specifically which suspension bushings usually wear out at about 100,000 miles on a 2007 XJ Super V8? I plan to have my front and rear air suspension replaced and I was thinking have the bushings susceptible to wear and tear be replaced also. I wanted to know this info before I take it to the indie shop so I can buy the bushings at a Jaguar dealer parts dept.

 

Not sure you can. The best option is do a visual inspection and then order bushings from Rock Auto, eBay, somewhere in England, or wherever you can kind them. The factory bushings for the front lower are available at Rock Auto. The rea lowers too, just maybe not all Lemforeder.
The uppers are tough, the bushings seem to hold up okay, the ball joint boots sometimes fall apart. Same with front and rear tie rod ends.
The rear lower bushings are really bad about failing.

 

Is your indy a Jag indy? If so, he/she can probably source the bushings for you. Mine has done enough of them to know where to go - I had mine done on my previous XJR and it rode like new again.
