Str,po332 bank 2 knock sensor low input
Keep getting code p0332 and restricted performance, the second I clear code it immediately returns.. Wtf!! I guess it has to go to dealer.. Sensor is cheap but supercharger needs to be remove to get to it. They said $1200 .. What should I do?
Yeah, thats surely a bad sensor. Sometimes you can limp it along by staying out of the go pedal. It is not cheap to get that supercharger off. Give me a shout if you want to bring it down to Wilmington to fix it.
So this morning no code, no restricted performance. This car is parked outside and not driven daily, but once or twice a week, it seems to always act up the day after it stops raining...
There's a TSB for water getting in to the KS (knock sensor) - but it's for the V6 3.0 car.
S303-24 "V6 Engine MIL Lamp On/DTC P0332 - Water Entry In Knock Sensor Connector - Install Sealing Patch"
I think it'll be in the TSB section, in case it helps.
