So now I'm confused. And have called and emailed Eurocharged several times since with no answer or response back. Super frustrating!
That's certainly misleading... Hopefully someone can clarify this dilemma for you asap.

Thread revival. I am doing some aftermarket product testing on my STR and trying to get some good baseline dyno numbers on a dynopack. I set it up with DSC off, sport mode on and in 4th gear and the trans keeps kicking down. Anyway to disable this? I know BMWs that use the same transmission don't have this problem.

Do the other dynos / dyno threads for that engine that have been posted help?

Mostly I read that people modulate pedal to try and prevent the kickdown. I don't think you can get a consistent and repeatable dyno pull this way

Am not exactly sure where the shift point is, could be around 3600 rpm, after that you do not have any kickdowns anymore. So rev it up to 3600 already with some load, and only then floor it, which gives you a usable area from 4000 to 6300 rpm.

Bring it up to about 4,000rpm before punching it. If you go WOT early, as in, well under 4,200rpm, it will kick down into 3rd. Your dyno operator is probably not getting it up to speed enough before hitting it.
