I have looked online for a Haynes manual on either a 2007 Jaguar S-Type 3.0 or a Lincoln LS and came up empty. Any suggestions?

Most importantly.... don't use an auto-store replacement alternator unless you don't mind staring at the red "Batt" light full-time..... get yours rebuilt or buy one from a breaker if you don't fancy shelling out $400 odd for the dealer model.

 

It's just remove and replace. What do you need to see?
Nothing special or different from any other car.

And listen to the above post. If you do have to replace a alternator try to rebuild yours so you don't have any problems. Second best is a used unit. Many people have problems with the store bought replacements.
