Dan of course your car has one boy! LOlz...all cars have one unless you driving a UFO. Alright then just look under around the drivers side of the tranny its there! Search around the forums I saw it awhile back when I wasn't a member. A lot of useful things on here if you just search, ya know

Yours are most likely in a different location. You have a different transmission. I have never worked on the early model trans. The video is for the ZF26 trans which got switched into the Stypes in 2003. So you have the early Ford type trans not sure where the linkage is or if that is a common problem with that trans. It is common on the ZF's to come loose.

I've read about these also. Would removing them and using some blue locktight be a permanent fix?

Bodyman, I posted a pic in #16 https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...smission+bolts

Yeah... you can do that...but they are easy to tighten and apparently an absolute bitter-ex-wife to remove and replace!

Dan,
Sorry dude, you are SoL for pics. There may be one on here somewhere, but I don't recall it. As Vance said, you've got a different xmsn and it mayn't even be an issue on that one...no matter, you can still worry over the park-pawl or whatever it is that devils the pre-ZF xmsn models!
