I have a weird noise that I just actually noticed. When I turn my wheel back and fourth, I get a weazing type of noise coming from the wheel. It is def not the power steering pump or anything as the actual noise is coming from the wheel itself. Almost seems like some WD 40 may need to be sprayed somewhere. Has anyone heard of or had this issue happen to them? thanks...

 

Very common issue- almost every S-type was afflicted with it and it actually is the steering rack and pump although people have been willing to bet their firstborn that it wasn't.

thanks for the info mikey.. I was reading and it says affected cars are 2003 and on s-types and the vin that is not in my range. Does this still affect me?
