Hello,

My S type R is experiencing some peculiarities with it's windscreen wiper mechanism. The wipers still work OK but the Off position is now On and what should be the On position is now off. The Top speed wipe position works as it did before but I do not get the variable option I had before?

I'm guessing this is going to be a wiring fault somewhere? I've check the fuses out and they seem all OK?

Any ideas on a simple fix or do I need to drop it into the Garage?

Probably the stalk's wiring.

 

Or the stalk itself (or rather the switch mechanism in the stalk)
