I have a 2000 jaguar s type v8. What offset will Fit on a 17 inch wheel aftermarket? Many sellers are saying 45mm will fit, some saying not on v8. Can some please help me. I know 18 inch will fit. I'm looking at 7 1/2 to 8 inch width. Can't get a answer even from sellers.

Before spending any money, have you changed the timing chain tensioners & related parts?

Your engine will be written off sooner or later if not.

 

The more powerful models have uprated brakes requiring more clearance.
If you look at OEM wheels - Juno, Kronos, Antares - these have an offset of 60mm.
