Default Where to find trans line o-ring C2c6713

Where can I find a transmission line o-ring C2c6713 that goes on the trans cooling lines at the radiator. Im in the middle of changing fluid and both orings are destroyed.

are there only two skinny ones that go on the nut? Or do any go on the tube? Looks to be a metal on metal seal there.

is the skinny oring needed?

If your Jaguar dealer does not stock the part, and/or cannot obtain them, most automatic transmission parts houses carry o-ring assortments and should be able to match one to yours,,, Automotive air-conditioning o-rings might also be a source for a replacement.

Yeah, you have to have the skinny ones because of the narrow flange that they seat against in the radiator....when i replaced my radiator, i lost the new o rings and decided to put the thicker ones from my o ring kit....they sealed for about 2 days.....i finally found the new ones and found the thicker ones cut because of the narrow, sharp mating surface....late on the info, sorry

Ok debating whether to delete this post due to the ERRONEOUS AND IDIOTIC information I presented.

so it turns out these skinny o-rings I showed ARE NOT THE CORRECT ones.

these skinny ones are simply the SHEARED OFF EDGE of a previously installed o-ring.

I went and looked at my parts jag and it didnt have the skinny ones on the nut but fatter ones on the tube lime youd expect. But they were skinnier than the ones in my o-ring kit so they are a special size.

bottom line is the oring goes here:

Only use the right size oring here! None on the nut

For future reference, this would be an EAI #013 (7/16" x 9/16" x 1/16") NBR (Nitrile) O-ring.
They can be sourced at many places inexpensively.

Dennis thank you for the detailed part info!
That kind of stuff is just so valuable to the next guy.
With the age of our cars Jaguar is and will continue to drop/obsolete parts so we must look to sources outside of Jaguar.

Good info right here and thankyou.

I just ordered a bag of these, there are 50 per bag so if anyone needs some drop me a pm. Otherwise I'll use them to make the wife a bracelet - Nitrile is a girls best friend
