I have a 2000 S type 4.0 and have these wheels

The wheels currently have 235/50-17 on them but I would like to step up to 245/45-17 tires. Will they fit on the wheel correctly? Will they fit under my car? Thanks

They should my rims are 245/45/R20.

 

Damn are you serious, I have heard of guys having problems fitting 245/35-20 under our cars. Did you roll the fenders or tub the car somehow? Thanks

I am going to tell you straight.My rims do rub with 4 people in the car. Myself they don't. I am thinking to roll the fenders and put 22s with bandit tires. "Bandits" are super thin tires.

 

Okay so how much you sellin me the 20s for

 

lol. My rims were $2690. 20" X 8.5Dub Dirty Dog 5 with Nitto 555 tires from www.superbuytires.com I don't thinkI will ever sell my rims. Check out the FOOSE SPEEDSTER 5 in CHROME they are to die for.

 

I hear ya bro I have HRE 545 19/20 polished and chrome plated with Pirelli Assemetricos on my corvette. You dont even want to know what they cost, but the two front rims alone cost more than you paid for wheels and tires. It is really ridiculous if you think about it. LOL I only paid $5k for my damned S type.

I still need to know if anyone is running 245/45-17 tires? I ordered a set from tire rack but they say that they dont recommend any wider than 235 on the 2000 Stype. I need to call them back today with an answer. Help please?
