I am replacing the regulator on the front driver's side of my 2002 S-Type. But all the products I have seen online have motors with a two-pin electrical connector, whereas my car has an 8-pin connector.
Can a motor with this type of connector be found? So far no luck.
Perhaps there is an adaptor available ?
Perhaps this motor can be reused, but it is now missing the plastic gasket around the gear, and I don't know how to test it.

What are the last 5 digits of your VIN? M35740 or higher? Big changes in the middle of 2002, so likely your car is after the cutoff.
Early models had only 2 pins at the window motors. Later models had an 8 pin connector, but I think only 6 are used.
The motors operate in a completely different manner. Later models have position feedback, not found on earlier models. I don’t think there’s any way to adapt a motor to the other control system.
Hopefully a Jaguar specialist retailer would have the correct motor. If not, eBay probably does.
Realizing that a change in mid-model-year would probably carry through to the next mode-year, I started searching for the part for the 2003 model-year, and was able to find one. More expensive than the parts for the 2002 model, but it has the right connector.
Thanks for the tip.
