Default Window Tinting suggestions needed

If you have a factory or after market window tint - What is your setup in percent of tint, ie, 20-30-40% ?
Front:
Rear and back glass:

What do you suggest for a light colored car (seafoam)? Darker cars always look good with tint, but I am not so sure with lighter ones.

Also, I think the factory glass is 5-10% tint, anyone know for sure?

35 is legal in just about every state including NYC, but I went with 40. Beware if you decide to do any tinting on the front windshield. Thats an immediate pullover followed by a multitude of tickets.

No front side window tint allowed in CA. I had a car that was tinted before I bought it and was only bothered once and let go though.

If you are concerned about looks the interior color will affect how dark the tint looks. My LS has 20% all around and looks noticeably darker then my buddy's LS with 20% light colored interior.

I have 25% (legal limit in TX) on all door windows and the rear with a dove (light grey) interior. I used Huper Optik ceramic film, certainly darker in there but it gives the light grey seats a slight greenish tint odd

Take note of the entry in the Jaguar Owners Manual about metal oxide in some tints that will interfere with the operation of your Nav system, if so fitted. Make sure you/your installer selects a tint film carefully.....

I've had 5% all the way around on all my cars, including my two Jags over the past six years...

Your issue is CA, can't legally have front tint...If I lived in CA, I probably would never put on front tint due to it looking off without the front windows tinted...

I have whatever the darkest allowed is, not sure on the %.
In FL you can have the front tinted down to a certain point on the windshield, less than a foot I think.
