Why is it that I have to go to the dealer every time to replace wiper blades for $200! Where can I find ones that have the water jet attached. That seems to be the problem.

Thanks so much. That looks like the one I need. It's less than half the price of the OEM so I don't expect perfection. The OEM's dissolve in the Florida sun fast anyway. BTW What is the X200 forum for?

 

All S-Types (X200 being jag's internal name for what became called the S-TYPE).

It's a very long time since I replaced a wiper BLADE and here in England my wipers get a lot of use. JLR list the RUBBER separately at a considerable cost saving. For the S-Type, the Part Numbers are:

I gave up on trying to do it, always have my shop do it - not worth the aggravation - btw, great design guys...NOT!!!!

I used the Bosch AR608S wiper set.
These come with new washers jets and are an exact fit on the 05MY or newer S-type.
They cost me £20 on e-bay including UK postage.

Ever try replacing a simple sun visor! They glue the connector way up inside so you have to tear the trim apart. I just cut and spliced. Ridiculous. Well, less ridiculous than the XJ's
