Red face Without this Forum...

As a new Jag owner, I just have to let you guys know how much knowledge this Forum provided before I even got delivery of my '05 STR. You have saved me a bundle, and made me appear to be a really knowledgable owner, whereas in fact....

WITHOUT THIS FORUM, I WOULD NEVER HAVE KNOWN ABOUT:
Checking the 2 bolts that attach the gearbox cable to tranny mounts.
The Brutal method for fixing drooping headlights.
Low battery voltage not releasing parking brakes.
The revised specs for toe-in on front wheels.
The additive fix for steering wheel squeak.
Checking the windscreen wash filter before changing the pump.
Replacing the 2-piece lug nuts.
Recognizing & solving the "lurch".
Deleting tranny adaptations and reflashing the software.
Ways to check and fix suspension joints and bushings.
Options for increased power.
Checking for that tell-tale bulge in the upper coolant hose.

Hope I can return the favor some day.

Robin, we're happy you benefited and look forward to your continued participation. Greet newcomers even though you may not feel you are knowledgeable on the subject (works for me). Keep the action alive by developing your own threads on any experience concerning your S-Type stewardship. Unleash more power from your 05 STR by popping on a 3 lb. pulley, hi-flow cats, x-pipe, etc. Report "Kills".

You know, that's a good list and also quite cheap (some of it essentially FREE) stuff to deal with.
